Valley Rewind: 1923 Cherry Street fire

In this photograph from the Swannanoa Valley Museum and History Center's extensive archives, the Black Mountain Fire Department battles a fire on Cherry Street in 1923. Today, the three buildings visible in this photograph are part of the North Fork Kitchen and Bar, located at 122, 124, and 126 Cherry Street.
